Wilma Moody

Wilma Smiley Moody, 97, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia, Georgia. She was born in Long county on November 4, 1919 to John Ernest and Alice Cameron Smiley and lived in Long and Tattnall county all of her life. She was a homemaker, a loving, caring wife and aunt. She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie J. Moody; one brother, four sisters.

Chad Wheeler, Kelly (Mike) Anderson, Brad Whitlow
Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Gum Branch Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers: Rudy Wheeler, Ferrell Smiley, Jeff Barnes, Brad Whitlow, Jim Poole and Don Moody.

Honorary Pallbearers: Woody Adams, Marty Adams, Howard Hill and Doug Williams.
