Zachary Keith Wilson

Zachary Keith Wilson, 37, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Zach was born on June 14, 1987, in Hunnington, West Virginia to Martin and Kathy Gannon Wilson. Zachary was a devoted father, a cherished friend, and a proud U.S. Army veteran. 

He attended Long County High School, Zach had a wide array of hobbies that reflected his zest for life. He had a profound passion for music and found solace in fishing and hunting. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his children, who were his pride and joy. 

In addition to his family life, Zachary was deeply committed to volunteering at the Veterans Hospital, demonstrating his unwavering support for fellow veterans.

He is preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents, Lester Ray Gannon, Dixie and Robert Sims, Paternal Grandmother, Pear Wilson.

Wife, Heather Wilson of Reidsville, Georgia

Parents: Kathy & Martin Wilson of Glennville, Georgia

Children, Alyssa Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Jr., Rehtaeh Wilson

Children he raised as his own, Steven Beasley, Bailey Beasley, Samuel Waters, Jr., Kevin Lingerfelt II, Lexie Lingerfelt

Sister, Kelyn Thomas of Glennville, Georgia

Paternal Grandfather, Frank Arthur Wilson of Ocala, Florida

Nieces, Skyler and Khloe Thomas

Several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 4, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
